Mildred W. Levin Scholarship

The Mildred W. Levin Scholarship was established in honor of the Hastings alumna. This scholarship is awarded to second or third year students with financial need who exemplify the ideals represented by Mildred Levin; intellect, determination, compassion and integrity. Recipients are selected by the Queen’s Bench of San Francisco (http://www.queensbench.org/).

A resume, autobiographical statement and typewritten essay must be submitted.

Essay topic: “What experience or event in your life motivated or directed you to pursue a career in law?”
Length of essay: No more than 2,000 words.
Number of finalists: Up to six. Finalists will be invited to an interview with the Queen’s Bench selection committee.

  1. This scholarship requires an essay as part of the application process. For this scholarship, the Scholarship Selection Committee will read all applications and select a pre-determined number of finalists. Off-campus selection committees established for this scholarship will select the recipient from the finalists.
