Public Interest/Public Service Summer Grant Program 2025

OVERVIEW
UC Law San Francisco (UCLSF) has a proud tradition of developing talented public interest and government lawyers. It is important that UCLSF continues its tradition of extending necessary financial resources to law students who wish to work at unpaid government and public interest positions during their summers in law school.

The Public Interest/Public Service Summer Grant Program offers $5,000 grants funded by multiple sources via a common application process. In accordance with UC Law SF’s purposes and objectives, grants are awarded to students who are devoted to public interest/public sector law while in school and show promise as future advocates for justice.

Applications are reviewed by an independent committee and are scored anonymously. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns to the Career Development Office (CDO) at careers@uclawsf.edu. Good luck!
